Are you a Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (WTB)? Do you have experience with engineering calculations, calculation sheets and SolidWorks 3D? Then this could be an interesting temporary assignment within an international maritime engineering environment. Company information For a leading organization in the maritime industry, we are looking for a Medior Mechanical Engineer to temporarily strengthen the Engineering department. Vacancy information The main focus of this position is on mechanical engineering calculations and the preparation of calculation sheets. You will translate technical requirements and engineering information into practical calculations and technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing mechanical engineering calculations and preparing calculation sheets; - Designing and modelling mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks 3D - Creating, modifying and reviewing 3D CAD models, technical drawings and engineering documentation; - Structuring and processing technical product data within the PDM system; - Working closely with Mechanical Engineers and other Engineering disciplines to develop practical and technically feasible solutions.
