The successful candidate will work on projects in the Pharma and Mission Critical sectors. Responsibilities - Completing HVAC and black utility designs which include calculations, technical reports, specifications and drawings. - Load / System calculations. - Developing P&ID’s through all design stages. - Selecting and specificating various mechanical system components i.e. AHU’s, pumps, cooling towers etc., - Co-ordinating services and equipment with the other disciplines within a design team environment. - Reviewing shop drawings and assist with general construction services. - Completing surveys to gather field related information for projects or specific tasks. - Managing and sharing any/all equipment requirements across a large project team. - Managing Client, Vendor and Contractor communications including answering queries, email correspondence, attendance at meetings, etc. - Completing Cost Estimates. - Managing and planning project work and deliverable. - Having the ability to work on multiple projects. - Assisting in the development of technical proposals. Qualifications - 10 years + project design experience as a lead engineer - Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering - Experience and knowledge of various heating and cooling systems including: air and water-side economizers, centrifugal chillers, chilled water distribution, open and closed loop systems and thermal storage cooling systems, CRAH and CRAC air handling equipment and kno
