Senior Manager Operational Due Diligence and Value Creation Amsterdam You'll join the team working on value creation projects within our Delivering Deal Value team, where Finance and Operations meet. We advise buyers and sellers on one central question: what is the financial impact of operational and organisational change during a transaction? Our work is predominantly pre-deal and covers carve-out assessments, operational due diligence, synergy assessments and business plan reviews - the analyses that shape the investment decision. This is what you will do As a Senior Manager you run several of these engagements at the same time. You're the central figure towards the client: you're in the room from the first scoping conversation through to the final presentation, you own the relationship, and you pick up the additional questions that inevitably come up mid-deal. You set the analytical direction, then critically challenge what your team produces. Concretely, you will: - Lead multiple pre-deal engagements in parallel, taking responsibility for scope, approach, quality and delivery on each; - Act as the client's main point of contact throughout the project, translating complex operational and financial analysis into clear answers for deal teams, CFOs and investment professionals; - Work closely with our Partners and Directors on your engagements - keeping them informed, involving them at the right moments and making sure their input lands where it counts; - Bring depth in one or more core operational functions ( e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Working Capital, Procurement, Sales) and act as the go-to person for those topics within your teams; - Critically review the work of your team - challenging assumption...
