About this role
Working closely with the partners, investment committee, regulators, LPs and external advisors, the CFRO helps build a scalable, technology-enabled and operationally efficient platform while acting as an independent governance counterbalance on valuations, risk and investment decision-making. - Strategic leadership role within the management team across finance, risk, governance and operations - Ownership of the full financial, operational and IT value chain - Responsibility for fund finance, investor reporting, treasury, capital calls and financial reporting - Build scalable governance, reporting and operational infrastructure for current and future funds - Lead and maintain the AIFMD-compliant risk management framework - Oversight of DORA, ICT risk management, cybersecurity and operational resilience - Manage regulatory interaction with AFM/ESMA and external advisors - Oversee valuation governance and independently challenge investment and valuation decisions where required - Drive a lean, technology-enabled and highly efficient operating model using automation and AI-enabled workflows - Build and lead the finance, compliance and risk organization The ideal candidate The CFRO we are looking for combines a strong foundation with an entrepreneurial and technology-oriented mindset. You understand how funds operate and the importance of governance, risk management and regulatory discipline. At the same time, you are not a "regulator at heart".
