About this role
You're responsible for the day-to-day running of the floor, from planning to quality, and you report to the Production Leader. - You keep an eye on the daily production planning and adjust it whenever needed - You deploy raw materials and people so quality stays on point and costs stay low - You work actively on the floor yourself, alongside your team - You cover breaks and make sure people can go home on time - You coach new colleagues until they can work independently - You safeguard quality and safety, from taking samples to leaving the factory spotless - You make sure freight and delivery paperwork is in order when loading and unloading - In the busy season, you occasionally help out in the evenings with dispatch About the company You'll be working for a Dutch family business that has been growing, harvesting, and processing vegetables into ingredients for the international food industry for over 70 years. Think juices, purées, and concentrates that end up in products worldwide. From the modern processing site in the Helmond region, a close-knit team works on quality every day, with short lines of communication and room to make your own decisions on the floor.
