Then this could be the perfect opportunity for you! For a large and modern company in the Eindhoven area, we are looking for a Cook for a temporary period of 3 months. You will work as part of a professional kitchen team and help prepare fresh and varied meals for a large number of employees and visitors. What’s your job about? As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing lunch and dinner for employees and visitors. Your responsibilities include: Preparing lunch for approximately 1,100 employees and 20 visitors; Preparing dinner for more than 500 employees every day; Preparing a variety of meals, including soups, salads, sandwiches and hot meals; Helping to serve approximately 900 lunches and 250 dinners per day; Coming up with new recipes and contributing your own ideas; Ensuring good hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen; Working together with your colleagues to prepare meals efficiently; Occasionally helping in the canteen with setting up the buffet and cleaning duties; Helping with dishes and cleaning tables when needed. Quality, variety and healthy meals are important aspects of the role. What skills do you have? You are available for 38 hours per week; You are available from Monday to Saturday; You are flexible to work both day and evening shifts, between 07:00 and 19:00; You have experience working in a kitchen; this is an advantage but not essential; You enjoy cooking and have an eye for quality and presentation; You are a strong team player and enjoy working together with others; You are flexible and able to switch between different tasks; You speak English; Dutch is a plus; You are comfortable helping with different tasks such as buffet service, dishes and cleaning.
