Approved ROV training, and experience driving an ROV in an operational setting A technical or electrical education, and practical experience from maintenance and fault-finding on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems Experience of leading a small team, or the clear ambition and ability to take that step The discipline to work by written procedures and checklists, and to get reports out on time Working proficiency in English, and fitness for physical work at quaysides, on pontoons and on board vessels You are the senior person on the station and the point of contact for everyone who deals with it the crew, the vessel, the port and our own management. You plan the cleanings, get the permissions in place, fly the ROV yourself, and make sure the job is reported properly afterwards. When something breaks or the plan changes, you are the one who decides what happens next. The work is governed by procedures, checklists and manufacturers' manuals, and we operate alongside customers, ports and crews who expect us to do things the same way every time. As supervisor you set the standard for that, and you are responsible for a safe workplace and a clean operation at all times.
