**Shanghai Taste** is looking for a **part-time Cashier / Waiter** to join our team in the heart of Helsinki. We are looking for a **friendly, energetic and customer-oriented person** who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and genuinely wants to help customers. Your responsibilities include: - Welcoming and serving customers in a friendly manner - Taking customer orders and handling payments - Helping customers and explaining our menu and products - Sales and recommending products to customers - Serving food and drinks - Keeping the dining area clean and organized - Cleaning tables and restaurant areas - Other daily restaurant tasks We expect you to have: - At least **1–2 years of customer service experience** - Excellent and friendly **customer service skills** - A genuine desire to help customers and create a great customer experience - A **sales-oriented mindset** and the ability to recommend products naturally - Good **stress tolerance and ability to work under pressure** - The ability to work efficiently during busy periods - **Quick problem-solving skills** and the ability to make decisions independently - A proactive and responsible attitude - Reliability and good teamwork skills - A valid **Hygiene Passport** (required) - **Alcohol Serving Passport** is considered a plus - Good **Finnish and English skills** - **Chinese language skills** are considered an advantage Working hours - Part-time position - **2–5 shifts per week** - Shifts are mainly between **11:00 and 20:00** - Working hours can be arranged flexibly Training provided **Full training will be provided for the position**, so you do not need to know all of our procedures from day one. What matters most to us is a **positive attitude, willingness to learn, good customer service and the ability to work as part of a team**. Employment - **4-month probationary period** - After the probationary period, the employment will continue as a **permanent, open-ended employment relationship**, provided that the cooperation is successful and the position is a good fit for both sides.
