About this role
For our client in the food industry, located in the Oudenaarde region, we are looking for an Order Picker who is willing to work in a 3-shift system. Your responsibilities You collect products from the cold and hot production lines and store them in the correct location in the refrigerator. You label products correctly and register batch numbers, expiry dates and returnable packaging in MAPA. You monitor stock levels and report shortages in a timely manner. You check incoming deliveries for quantity, temperature and condition, and register the information in MAPA. You assist drivers with loading and unloading and correctly apply the FIFO principle. You keep the warehouse, refrigerators and loading bays clean and tidy and ensure that returnable packaging is stored in the correct location. You work an early, day or late shift – working hours vary depending on the schedule and the day. What are we looking for in an Order Picker? You have a good command of English. You are comfortable working in a chilled environment of approximately 7°C. You can operate an electric pallet truck and a reach truck. You are flexible and available to work early, day and late shifts, including occasional Saturdays or Sundays. You work accurately: quantities, temperatures, batch numbers and expiry dates must be correct. You are able to maintain an overview when several orders need to be prepared at the same time and can determine which tasks should be given priority.
