Your responsibilities as Finance Manager Belgium: Manage the full accounting cycle from A to Z and provide hands-on operational support where needed. Work within a very small team and take responsibility for managing and guiding the team. Closely monitor month-end closings, VAT, Intrastat, Recupel/Recybat, and tax preparation. Support the budgeting and forecasting process and ensure timely and accurate reporting of P&L, cash flow, and KPIs. Analyse financial figures, identify risks and opportunities, and proactively support the Managing Director as a trusted financial business partner. Ensure the accounting processing of payroll and contribute to the follow-up of financial and HR-related matters. Your profile: You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field, or have developed an equivalent level of expertise through relevant experience in finance, audit, or controlling. You are fluent in Dutch and English and communicate confidently and professionally with various stakeholders. You are a hands-on Finance Manager who enjoys bringing structure, taking responsibility, and remaining operationally involved. You work accurately and analytically, take initiative, and have a decisive and results-oriented mindset. You have strong people management skills and know how to manage deadlines and month-end closings efficiently. Ideally, you have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar financial role within an SME environment. Knowledge of SAP is considered an asset.
