UCT is looking for a talented FTZ Specialist to join us in Austin, TX!

The FTZ Specialist is responsible for supporting Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations, compliance, and administration activities to ensure accurate transaction processing, inventory control, and regulatory compliance. This role serves as a key resource and partners with FTZ Admin and internal stakeholders to maintain accurate records, support audits, and drive operational excellence within the FTZ program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

FTZ Transaction Management

• Execute daily FTZ transactions and data entry activities within SAP and TR systems.

• Process and monitor E214 admissions.

• Manage inventory movements, adjustments, transfers, manifest data and other FTZ-related transactions.

• Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing in accordance with FTZ regulations and company procedures to include weekly entry filings.

Documentation and Process Management

• Assist in documenting process improvements, system changes, and compliance requirements including the FTZ Compliance Binder and operational SOPs.

• Support training initiatives and user readiness activities related to FTZ processes and system implementations.

Data Integrity and Reconciliation

• Monitor and resolve transaction validation errors and exceptions within TR.

• Reconcile SAP and TR data to identify and correct discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate ICRS records and audit reporting.

• Support inventory accuracy initiatives and data governance efforts.

Compliance, Reporting, and Audit Support

• Track FTZ activity and maintain records necessary for compliance reporting.

• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, reports, and transaction details.

• Assist with transaction-level compliance monitoring and corrective action activities as needed.

System Support, Testing, and Subject Matter Expertise

• Support UAT and system validation activities for TR implementations and enhancements.

• Review, investigate, and resolve TR validation errors to ensure data accuracy and system integrity.

• Assist with data readiness and cleansing efforts, including material master reviews, identification of missing data, and correction of data inconsistencies.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP-related FTZ transactions and processes.

• Provide guidance to users on FTZ operational procedures, transaction processing, and system-related questions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and logistics processes.

• Proficiency in SAP transactions related to inventory management, material movements, and warehouse operations.

• Ability to analyze transactional data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to develop, maintain, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Education and Certification Requirements

• Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field.

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, or related compliance environments.

• Experience managing inventory transactions, inventory accuracy initiatives, and reconciliation activities within an ERP system.

• Hands-on experience working with SAP, including inventory movements, adjustments, transfers, and material master data management.
