Mountain House Lodge at Sereno Canyon, located in Scottsdale, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Gate Host! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation:
$21.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately controls Gate access of Residents, Guests and Vendors to the Resort Style Community.
• Checks all guests into the resort style community based on established procedures.
• Promotes Ownership activities and special events in the Community and Mountain House Lodge.
• Provides accurate and complete information about the Community and resort and the surrounding areas.
• Answers guest questions and provides accurate directions to all points of interest inside the Community.
• Activates the appropriate emergency procedures in the event of a fire, accident, weather or medical emergency.
• Maintains accurate and reliable logs and records of daily activities and resident/guest/vendor interactions of note.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
• Knowledge of Gate Pass Systems and Microsoft applications a plus.
