About this role

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for managing all F&B operations (Restaurant, Bar, Kitchen, Room Service, Grab & Go, and Banquets) for a Full-Service style property. The F&B Manager's responsibilities include: delivering an excellent guest experience, forecasting, planning and managing all F&B orders (restaurant and kitchen), hiring, training, scheduling and counseling of all staff members in these departments. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

JOB DUTIES:

• Plan and direct the functions of administration of the F&B Outlets to meet the daily needs of operation.

• Responsible for short and long-term planning of all outlets including Restaurant, Bar, and To Go.

• Responsible for the selection, training and development of the team members within the department.

• Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and team satisfaction results.

• Full understanding of team engagement with guests.

• Develop and implement creative strategies for revenue enhancement and cost containment.

• Develop and recommend the budget, marketing plans and objectives.

• Responsible for maintaining high energy, positive attitude, and professional appearance.

• Develop, implement and monitor schedules for the operation of restaurant, banquets, bar and in room dining teams to achieve profitable result.

• Participate with the culinary team, in the creation of attractive and merchandising menus designed to attract a predetermined customer market.

• Consult and work closely with the Director of Sales and Group Manager on a weekly basis as well as with other departments as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-3 years of F&B supervisory experience in a hotel environment

• 2-3 years of management experience

• High school graduate.
