About this role
This is a full time position. Hours would include weekday from 12:00pm to 8:00pm, with additional hours available based on scheduling needs and availability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Opens rooms and prepares entrance for the receiving of members.
• Handles morning reports for the schedule of the days events at the Club.
• Answer customer or public inquiries, answer inquires pertaining to Club services.
• Greet members and all visitors of the Club, provide members with assistance, provides directions other information to visitors.
• Obtains and opens bank for the shift and follows deposit /opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain account records, post charges for classes, and retail products to ledgers manually, or by using computers; compute bills, and collect payments.
• Assists in monthly inventory procedures.
• Maintain records, reports, or files for the treatment room clients with complete confidentiality.
• Take messages, transmit and receive messages, using telephones or telephone switchboards.
• Assist in locker rooms by straightening and picking up towels as needed and advises housekeeping or maintenance staff when members report problems.
• Assist in the purchase, display and sales of all merchandise.
• Assists other staff at Club as needed.
• Maintains upkeep at the desk, turns the lights and computer on/off.
• Walks from room to room maintaining close customer service contact with our members and guests.
• Maintains the pool deck in regards to clean towel restock, and dirty towel removal.
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience/Education:
• 2 years office related and customer service experience.
• Must have good communication (verbal and written), organizational, and public relation skills.
• Good math skills.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Job requires sitting/standing/greeting at a desk (50%).
• Job requires walking and greeting (50%).
• Must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs.
• Current CPR and First Aid (within in 90 days).
