Perkins&Will Atlanta Studio is growing, and we're looking for a Landscape Designer II! We're seeking a talented landscape architecture designer who combines strong design thinking with technical excellence. In this role, you'll help shape innovative site solutions, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to projects that create meaningful, lasting impacts. Join a dynamic team working across a variety of project scales, from campus environments, waterfront parks, botanical gardens and, complex urban developments, while continuing to grow your design expertise.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the overall success of the team by adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in landscape design, execution, and living design.
• Prepares contract documents including hardscape and landscape plans, details, sections, elevations, and schedules.
• Conceptualizes across a broad range of scales and project types, from university campuses to dense urban environments at a planning level through detailed site design level.
• Exhibits strong conceptual thinking with an ability to communicate ideas both graphically and verbally.
• Displays a strong work ethic and desire to learn new skills in support of a growing landscape architecture practice.
• Uses a creative approach to complete tasks and responsibilities on projects in an organized, timely, and consistent way.
• Takes increasing ownership on tasks within project teams and studio activities.
• Participates in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
• Keeps open communication within team and with designated team leader.
• Communicates ideas and thoughts in a way that inspires others.
• Coordinates effectively with partners and consultants.
Proficiencies:
• BIM (preferred but not required)
• Enhanced knowledge in site analysis
• Preliminary design studies
• Graphic presentations
Software Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of 2D/3D production software
• Microsoft Office / Adobe Suite including presentation tools such as PPT, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Visualization tools such as Enscape, Lumion, and D5
Licensure/Certifications/Education:
• Bachelors degree in landscape architecture required
• Masters preferred
