Network Engineer

In this role, the Network Engineer will support OTP operations through system design, security and optimization of the enterprise and industrial computer networks.
• Evaluate system performance to ensure reliability and availability meets the needs of the company and recommend projects to enhance or improve based on the needs of the company.
• Analyze cybersecurity vulnerabilities and execute patch management and root cause mitigation strategies.
• Design and implement continuous improvement strategies that increase efficiencies through automation.
• Collaborate with internal and external engineers to ensure projects meets OTP's standards.
This position reports to Supervisor Network Engineering.
Qualifications:
Qualified applicant should have demonstrated knowledge of: IP networking, Local and wide area networks, Wireless networking, Routing protocols, Network security, Telephony, Fiber optic technologies, Engineering terms and principals.

• Demonstrated experience in the network engineering field including IP networking, routing protocols and networking security is preferred.
• An Associate's degree or higher preferred in telecommunications engineering, network engineering, computer science or equivalent.

• The expected offer for base compensation for this role is $84,000 - $116,000 annually. The actual compensation within the compensation range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
