Essential Functions:

This position is responsible for the following tasks, duties, and responsibilities:

• Maintains an inventory of raw materials in stock, on order, and work in process in production.

• Cycle counting and inventory adjustments.

• Report monitoring (production, staging, negative quantity locations).

• Adding/removing locations in TMM.

• Create and maintain inventory accuracy reports and count statistics.

• Provide inventory information to production schedulers and investigate inventory accuracy.

• Housekeeping activities; educate teammates on sound inventory control principles.

• Execute and document move ticket transfers, filing, and reconciliation.

• Support Shipping/Materials as needed.

• Help with Receiving and other areas of the warehouse as needed.

• Act as a backup to the Inventory Coordinator role and fill in as required.

• Safely operates forklifts and other necessary equipment.

• Other duties as assigned by position supervisor.

Education, Experience, & Skills:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience).

• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend basic English is essential for understanding various forms of work directions and safety instructions.

• This position requires the ability to communicate, both verbally and written, in a professional, positive, and constructive manner. Possesses proficient and professional email etiquette.

• Must possess basic math skills in order to calculate and document reliable product counts and inventory details (including but not limited to counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

• Strong organization, time management, multitasking, and critical thinking.

• Must be detail oriented and demonstrate both team-based and independent work skills.

• Be action-oriented; identify a problem and work proactively to correct it.

• Must have good knowledge of T.O. Plastics product.

• Computer skills required, including proficient use of Microsoft Office and PC applications.

• Understand inventory control concepts and the TOP inventory system/ERP tools.

• This position requires a great deal of communication between shipping, materials, and front office personnel.

• Ability to pass a forklift driving certification test and operate a forklift safely is required.

• High skill level at operating a forklift needed with the ability to operate a forklift safely in a fast-paced environment while carrying small to large loads.

Working Environment and Physical Demands:

• This position requires work to be performed in both office and the manufacturing environments.

• Work performed in the well-lit manufacturing environment may include regular exposure to flying dust and debris; the smell of burnt plastic; high decibel equipment and loud noises; and extreme temperatures ranging from subzero up to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.

• The manufacturing environment is fast-moving and may require the mobility to bend, stoop, lift, carry, lift above shoulders, push, pull, walk, and stand throughout the duration of the shift.

• May be required to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body and lift up to 50lbs on an occasional basis.

• Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment consistently and correctly. This may include wearing safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, other safety equipment as designated, and adhering to the safety dress code.

• Work performed in the controlled and well-lit office work environment has few physical hazards.

• Visual acuity, manual dexterity, and hand function may be required to complete data entry, use technology, and complete other tasks as assigned.
