QProducts and Services, part of the Lanco Group of Companies, is growing and adding a 2nd Shift! We're looking for General Labor team members to join our team.

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Position Summary

The General Laborer supports production operations by assisting machine operators, handling materials, packaging finished products, and maintaining efficient workflow throughout the manufacturing process. This role requires attention to detail, safe material handling, and teamwork to ensure quality standards and production targets are met.

Essential Duties:

• Assist sewing operators by guiding materials through sewing machines

• Fold finished products and place them on designated carts

• Load raw material rolls onto quilting machines

• Join material roll ends to ensure continuous machine operation

• Monitor and align material layers for quality and accuracy

• Unload cut materials from conveyor belts onto pallets or carts

• Turn quilts inside out and feed them through the rolling machine

• Remove finished rolled quilts from the machine and place them into boxes

• Seal boxes, palletize finished products, and secure pallets for shipment

What You Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED

• No prior experience required — this is a great entry-level opportunity

• Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in production and material handling; identifies potential defects or issues before they escalate

• Operational Knowledge: Ability to understand and follow documented operating procedures and material flow

• Teamwork: Works collaboratively with machine operators and production staff to meet quality and output goals

• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Physical and Environmental Elements

This is a production classification and employees work indoors and outdoors (in all seasons) with exposure to noise, chemicals, heavy equipment and machinery. Accurate hand/eye coordination is required. Finger dexterity is required, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull. Work involves considerable climbing, twisting, bending, squatting and kneeling for long periods of time. May lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Need to have the ability to ascend and descend a ladder and/or scaffolding. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

The final compensation offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and location.
