About this role
The Position
iD Tech is looking for a Hardware Technician. In this role, you will process and complete computer hardware repairs when needed, maintain computer inventory and run diagnostics on malfunctioning hardware. In addition, you will provide help desk support and assistance troubleshooting equipment to our field employees. This role works out of iD Tech's warehouse located in Reno, NV.
Responsibilities Include
• Oversee imaging process and maintain imaging hardware such as servers, switches, and data storage equipment
• Run diagnostics on hardware returning from the field and repair hardware that doesn't pass QC or fails imaging
• Manage maintenance records for all computer hardware and submit detailed reports when need
• Maintain accurate inventory and status for all assets under supervision of the Hardware Technician
• Fulfill work orders for outbound shipments
You Have
• A+ Certification or equivalent experience
• Proven skills with creating, capturing, and rolling out basic Windows images
• Experience with computer hardware and electronics repair
• Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware issues
• Inventory control experience
• Management or supervisory experience (preferred)
• System Administrator skills or experience (preferred)
• Forklift experience (preferred)
