About this role

Fleet Maintenance Technician

Hatfield, PA | Tuesday–Friday | 6:30 PM–5:30 AM

Why Join Clemens Food Group?

If you know your way around mechanical systems and want to build a career in diesel fleet maintenance, this is an opportunity to turn that experience into something bigger.

Clemens Food Group is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our experienced 2nd shift team in Hatfield, PA. You'll work hands-on with diesel trucks and refrigerated transport trailers while continuing to develop your technical capabilities.

The role pays up to $35/hour, with benefits beginning on your first day of employment. You'll also have opportunities for training, certifications, and continued career growth.

The Impact You'll Make

Our fleet needs to be safe, reliable, and ready to perform.

Your work will directly contribute to that by identifying problems, completing preventative maintenance, making repairs, and helping ensure our vehicles and equipment meet safety and compliance expectations.

You won't simply replace parts. We're looking for someone who can troubleshoot a problem, determine what needs to happen next, and take ownership of getting equipment back into working condition.

What You'll Do

You'll perform routine maintenance and repairs across our fleet of diesel trucks and refrigerated transport trailers.

Your work will include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems

• Diagnosing and repairing brake systems

• Maintaining and repairing cooling and other mechanical systems

• Performing routine fleet maintenance

• Supporting truck, heavy-equipment, and diesel repair

• Following established safety protocols and compliance requirements

• Continuing to develop your technical skills through training and certification opportunities

What Makes This Role Exciting?

Diesel repair experience is preferred, but we're also interested in technicians coming from heavy-equipment environments who have strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills and want to make the transition into fleet maintenance.

You'll have the opportunity to learn from an experienced team while developing capabilities across diesel trucks and refrigerated trailers.

We also provide opportunities to pursue certifications, including CDL-A and state inspection certifications, helping you expand both your capabilities and earning potential.

And with a Tuesday-through-Friday schedule, you'll work four scheduled days each week.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings strong mechanical ability, curiosity, and a commitment to doing the job safely.

You should be comfortable troubleshooting mechanical problems and working hands-on to find solutions.

Previous diesel mechanic experience is preferred, but candidates with relevant automotive and heavy-equipment experience are encouraged to apply.

You must also be able to consistently work our 2nd shift schedule:

Tuesday–Friday | 6:30 PM–5:30 AM

Skills & Mindset

Technical experience matters, but so does how you approach the work.

We're looking for someone who:

• Enjoys diagnosing and solving mechanical problems

• Takes safety and compliance seriously

• Works effectively as part of a team

• Is willing to learn from experienced technicians

• Wants to continue building technical skills

• Takes ownership of maintenance and repair work

• Is interested in earning additional certifications and growing within the role

Your Future at Clemens

This can be more than your next mechanic job.

You'll have opportunities for ongoing training, industry certifications, increased earning potential, and career growth while building experience with commercial diesel trucks and refrigerated transportation equipment.

If you have diesel experience, or you've built strong mechanical skills in automotive or heavy equipment and are ready for your next challenge, we want to hear from you.

Apply today and grow your career with Clemens Food Group.
