About this role
• Work every scheduled work day including weekends and overtime as required.
• Understand and comply with all PPE requirements at all times, work safely every day and encourage all team members to do the same.
• Maintain all plant equipment such as drill presses, press brakes, fork lift trucks, cranes and hoists, welding equipment, hand and power tools, etc.
• Make repairs to stairs, windows, racks and bins, benches, lighting fixtures, etc.
• Maintain and repair water and oil lines, steam and airlines, sprinkler and fire equipment, etc.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance on lighting circuits, power circuits, motors, controls, etc.
• Maintain inventory of replacement parts for tools and equipment.
• Inspect and clean equipment, tools, etc.
• Build jigs, fixtures, supports, etc.
• Provide training and assistance to other employees as assigned.
• Follow action and communication protocols for nonstandard deviation in processes or equipment..
• Perform other duties as assigned.
