Position Summary:
The PLRP (Private Lien Resolution Program) Lien Specialist at ARCHER is a highly analytical role responsible for resolving complex healthcare liens through advanced data analysis, legal interpretation, and independent judgment. The position requires knowledge of tools such as SQL, Excel, MS Access, and ARCHER's custom database to analyze large, multisource datasets, identify systemic risks and trends, and deliver accurate, time-sensitive results that impact lien strategy and compliance at scale. Serving as subject matter experts, PLRP Lien Specialists collaborate cross functionally, influence internal policies and software enhancements, and guide external partners toward ARCHER's preferred data and operational standards. Strong communication skills and flexibility to meet critical deadlines are essential to the role's success.

Job Responsibilities:
· Upload and extract large datasets leveraging proprietary tools. Evaluate complex or non‑standard lien issues by analyzing discrepancies, assessing regulatory or compliance risk, identifying root causes, and recommending appropriate resolution or corrective actions, escalating issues when required.
· Maintain accurate digital client files, organize case progress, and create data files for transfer with PLRP agencies.
· Ensure analytical outputs meet established accuracy, documentation, and regulatory compliance standards while addressing exceptions through due diligence and critical thinking.
· Audit medical claims itemizations, investigate discrepancies using analytical reasoning, problem‑solving skills, audit tools, and advise stakeholders on appropriate resolution pathways.
· Provide consultative analysis and recommendations that materially influence operational decisions, workflow prioritization, and client‑specific lien strategies
· Ability build strong lasting relationships with key stakeholders, acting as their primary point of contact and advocate within ARCHER Systems.
· Proactively manage external and internal stakeholder expectations, ensuring service delivery and satisfaction through clear communication and timely responses.
· Support time‑sensitive deliverables and peak workloads by independently prioritizing analytical work based on business impact and risk.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· 1-2 years of experience in business operations, legal administration, claims operations, or related roles.
· 2-3 years of experience using Microsoft Excel.
· Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, particularly with Excel for data analysis.
· 1-2 years of experience using SQL.
· Comfortable with SQL and basic Python for data manipulation or automation.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with legal, technical, and client stakeholders.
· Strong analytical mindset and data driven approach to problem solving.
· Ability to apply critical thinking and negotiation skills
· Undergraduate degree in Business, Operations, Legal Studies, Finance, Technology, or related discipline. Demonstrated workplace effectiveness in these fields taken into consideration in lieu of degree.
· 1-2 years' experience in mass tort administration, healthcare lien resolution, class action settlement administration, or related legal services.
· Experience with Jira or similar workflow/project management systems
· Familiarity with technology enabled service delivery.
