About this role
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, validate, and troubleshoot PC-DMIS CMM programs for complex components, including offline programming from CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Perform advanced first article, in-process, and final dimensional inspections using blueprints and GD&T requirements.
• Analyze inspection results and support improvements in quality, accuracy, and throughput.
• Maintain accurate inspection documentation and support medical-device quality requirements.
• Serve as a senior technical resource and mentor/cross-train other inspectors.
Required Qualifications
• Advanced CMM and PC-DMIS programming experience, including offline programming from CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Strong GD&T, blueprint interpretation, dimensional inspection, and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of medical-device quality requirements, including ISO 13485, FDA QMSR, and GMP.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work independently and mentor others.
Preferred Qualifications
• Medical device manufacturing experience.
• Experience with process capability, measurement system performance, continuous improvement, or automation projects.
