About this role
Requirements:
• Installs new parts on packaging machinery and equipment and tests before releasing back to production. Troubleshoots and repairs problems on all equipment
• Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of mechanical principles.
• Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with performance specifications.
• Analyze production to anticipate future problems to take proactive corrective measures. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations.
• Modify machinery as needed for various size containers.
• Work with teams for large projects to complete projects on time.
• Changeover and set up packaging equipment for various sizes to also include future packaging equipment.
• Perform regular repairs in the maintenance and alteration of buildings, grounds and equipment: includes troubleshooting, painting, carpentry, masonry and similar construction/ mechanical systems type work, etc.
• Performs other related responsibilities as assigned and/or required in the support of the Facilities
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
Degree from technical school; or 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
