About this role
Monsignor Slade Edu-Care Center is currently seeking teachers and aides for our before- and after-school child care program. During the school year, hours are from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Summer hours are flexible, with the program operating from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Essential Functions
• Plan, implement, and supervise age-appropriate activities for children in the classroom or assigned group.
• Attend staff and parent meetings as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Provide continuous visual and auditory supervision to ensure the safety of children in the classroom, on the playground, and during field trips.
• Maintain appropriate and professional communication with families.
• Participate in required and recommended training programs and workshops, including CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, Emergency Preparedness, Orientation, and Communication.
Position Qualifications
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Minimum of a High School Diploma and 90-hour child care certification.
• Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.
• An appreciation for young students and their families.
• Willingness to support the mission of the Catholic Faith and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools.
• Must meet all requirements established by the MSDE Office of Child Care.

Pay Range: $16.00 - $19.00, Hourly
