Director of Admissions Hondros College of Nursing
Hondros College of Nursing is hiring a Director of Admissions for our Maumee Campus!
As part of the campus management team, the Director of Admissions manages the Admissions Department. This includes maintaining an acceptable admissions rate of students in accordance with school, accreditation, and Company guidelines.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
• Employ ethical Admissions practices which meet all regulatory agency and Company standards
• Achieve admission results in each program consistent with company and/or campus goals
• Acts in a liaison capacity with other campus departments to ensure that student enrollment is efficient and delivered with a high degree of customer services
• Understands and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of the admissions department and the College
• Complete the Weekly Front End Worksheet, Class Start Tracking Report, and any other daily, weekly, and monthly reports as directed
• Ensure that all admissions activity is documented in the school's official tracking system, and reported to the appropriate personnel
• Participates and assists with on and off campus recruiting events; i.e. information sessions, industry update meetings, campus-based open houses and job fairs
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Ensure that all Admissions Representatives are properly trained in compliance and provide the best customer service possible to assist potential students in making career planning decisions
• Evaluate and resolve student inquiries, issues, and problems, and ensure that appropriate action is taken to the satisfaction of the student, Company, and/or regulatory agencies in compliance with policies, procedures and legal requirements
• Ensure that all Admissions Representatives accurately complete the necessary forms including a daily report of activity
• Participate in the planning process for the Admissions department along with senior management
• Ensure that all Admissions Representatives are asking for and receiving student referrals
• Monitor, track, and manage inquiries using the guidelines established and defined in the Director of Admissions Manual
• Partner with the Corporate Marketing Department and provide feedback to ensure steady inquiry flow
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and CampusVue
• Ability to produce reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and managers of the organization.
• Well-versed in customer service and highly business like.
• Ability to read and interpret documents pertaining to both internal and external policies.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a professional Business, Sales or Marketing position
