Summary The Area Location Manager is a strategic operational leader responsible for overseeing multiple locations across the South Valley, including SGS Bakersfield, Edison and Hanford. This role drives operational excellence, asset utilization, logistics performance, technology adoption, safety, and team effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Lead safe, efficient, and profitable operations across multiple locations Implement and optimize new technology platforms, systems, and digital tools Create workflow efficiencies across facilities and operational functions Maximize equipment, fleet, facility, and inventory utilization Oversee logistics, transportation planning, procurement, and inventory strategies Develop business plans, budgets, capital plans, and operational metrics Recruit, coach, develop, and retain high-performing teams Ensure compliance with safety, DOT, environmental, and company requirements Disclaimer - The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. Typical Education Associate degree or equivalent experience Required Qualifications 3+ years leadership experience in operations, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, agriculture, transportation, or related industries Experience implementing technology solutions and business systems Strong understanding of asset management, fleet management, inventory control, and business planning Advanced Microsoft Office and operational software proficiency Valid driver license Preferred Qualifications Agricultural industry experience strongly preferred but not required Multi-location management experience ERP, inventory management, logistics, or dispatch software experience Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience Who Thrives in This Role?
