About our group: The Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) team helps Seagate understand, measure, communicate, and prepare for evolving sustainability expectations and requirements. Our work spans sustainability reporting, regulatory readiness, stakeholder engagement, due diligence initiatives, and cross-functional sustainability projects. We partner with teams across Environmental Sustainability, Enterprise Risk Management, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Human Resources, Investor Relations, and Operations to support Seagate's sustainability goals and prepare for future reporting requirements. As an ESG Summer Intern, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of sustainability topics while working on meaningful projects that support our global business. About the role - you will: Support the development of sustainability reporting materials, presentations, and communications. Research sustainability trends, emerging regulations, and industry best practices. Assist with projects related to environmental, social, supply chain, and human rights topics. Assist with collection, organization, and analysis of sustainability-related data and the identification of insights that support reporting, decision-making, and program improvement. Support development of educational resources and stakeholder communications. Collaborate with teams across ESG, Enterprise Risk Management, Environmental Sustainability, and Supply Chain on cross-functional projects. Assist with maintaining project plans, trackers, documentation, and other program resources. About you: Curious and eager to learn about sustainability and business operations. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Interested in understanding how global companies address environmental and social challenges. Your experience includes: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Risk Management, or related field and returning to school in Fall 2027. Experience conducting research and summarizing findings. Experience organizing information and managing multiple tasks or projects. Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong written communication and presentation skills. Interest in sustainability, business strategy, risk management, supply chains, environmental issues, human rights, public policy, or related topics. You might also have: Interest in sustainability reporting, responsible sourcing, supply chain sustainability, risk management, or corporate responsibility. Experience using data visualization, reporting, or project management tools. Experience developing presentations, communications materials, or training resources. Experience participating in student organizations, volunteer activities, research projects, or internships related to sustainability or business topics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools. Location: Our Longmont product-design campus is nestled against the foothills with exceptional views of the Rocky Mountains. The estimated base wage range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Seagate also offers Interns 12 paid holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave. The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
