Purpose Entry-level position for customer service field activities and distribution systems and facilities applicable. Performs such work by Company, Regulatory, and Safety procedures. Accountabilities Perform and record reads and re-read orders of residential, commercial, and induction gas meters. Observe and report dangerous and damaged conditions about gas meters Train to perform disconnects and locates Complete all safety related training in a timely manner Complete electronic orders, atmospheric corrosion, and remediation Change index on meters glass Install and perform maintenance of meters and AMR devices, which includes painting meters Maintain comprehensive inventory of duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees in the job Service and construction helper Must hold stand-by duty, work shifts, holidays, weekends, emergency callouts, and occasional extensive hours Perform route reviews, follow up with customer concerns, upload and download routes in the absence of a supervisor Assist with training of new meter readers Responsible for the safe operation inspection of assigned company vehicles and equipment Demonstrate support for and adhere to the company’s values, strategies, policies, and procedures and exhibits the core values of Liberty’s mission statement, customer service, safety, and the company’s code of conduct as an individual contributor and team member Perform other related job duties as assigned Education and Experience High school diploma or GED Proficiency in basic computer knowledge Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills No experience required Must satisfy with regulatory and company applicable classifications before performing a covered task independently Valid Driver’s License required Our purpose is sustaining energy and water for life, and it is demonstrated in everything we do as a business and as an employee team.
