Type of contract: Employment contract Salary range: 17400-26700 PLN gross What will you do? Join a technology team within Risk & Compliance focused on Model Risk Management and Operational Risk Management solutions. You will design, build, and support enterprise-grade applications with a strong emphasis on backend development using Java and Spring technologies while contributing to React and TypeScript front-end delivery when required. The role combines hands-on engineering, solution design, technical leadership, and close collaboration with Agile delivery teams to build resilient, scalable, and production-ready platforms. Your tasks Design, build, and support backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Create solution designs and technical documentation including UML diagrams Deliver end-to-end features across backend and frontend components Implement microservices and micro-database architectures with clear API contracts Build integrations using event-driven architecture patterns Develop workflow-driven capabilities using BPMN-based solutions Ensure production readiness through logging, monitoring, resilience, and error handling Develop and maintain batch processing solutions Drive software quality through automated testing and code scanning Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams using JIRA and Confluence Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and delivery guidance to team members Your skills 8+ years of enterprise application development experience 2+ years of technical team leadership experience Strong expertise in Java Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring REST, Spring Security, and Spring Profiles Hands-on experience with microservices architecture Hands-on experience with micro-database architecture Experience with event-driven systems Experience with ReactJS Experience with TypeScript Experience creating API specifications using Swagger or OpenAPI Strong automated testing skills with JUnit and mocking frameworks Experience supporting batch processing applications Strong understanding of logging and error handling practices Hands-on experience with Docker Hands-on experience with Kubernetes Cloud services development experience Experience with code scanning and remediation of security and quality findings Experience working in Agile Scrum environments Experience using JIRA and Confluence Nice to have Knowledge of Risk & Compliance domain Knowledge of Model Risk Management Experience with Spring Integration Experience with Spring Batch Experience with WebSockets Experience with Server-Sent Events (SSE) Experience with binary communication protocols Experience with BPMN Experience with Flowable Experience with Activiti Experience with Drools Working knowledge of micro-frontends We offer Hybrid work in our client's office (Kraków) 6 days a month Working in a highly experienced and dedicated team Benefit package tailored to your needs (medical, sport, lunch subsidy, life insurance, etc.) Online training and certifications Access to e-learning platform Social events
