Job Requirements Job Summary The TS Operations & Engineering Rotation Program is a 26-month accelerated development program for high-caliber early-career talent with the potential to become future leaders across Operations and Engineering. Your first rotation as a Production Supervisor will provide a strong foundation in frontline leadership. You will work directly with production teams, learn how manufacturing decisions affect business performance, and take ownership of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people priorities with support and coaching from experienced Operations leaders. This is not an observation-based program. You’ll be expected to learn quickly, use data to solve real business problems, and contribute measurable results. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who wants to learn quickly, solve meaningful business challenges, and grow into broader Operations leadership roles. The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing performance. This role leads production teams, manages resources, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards. The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in achieving production targets while developing a high-performing and engaged workforce. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Production Operations Management Safety, Health & Environmental (EHS) Management Quality Management Leadership & People Management Continuous Improvement Resource & Asset Management Communication & Reporting What your background should look like Qualifications Education - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field. - Technical diploma with significant supervisory experience may be considered. Experience - 2~3 years of manufacturing experience. - Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments preferred. - Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies. ________________________________________ Required Skills - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Production planning and execution. - Root cause analysis and problem-solving. - Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement knowledge. - Data analysis and KPI management. - Effective communication and conflict resolution skills. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP, and MES systems. - Minimum 1 years in a supervisory or leadership role is a plus - Fluent in Japanese and English.
