Join our vision of a low-carbon world and help make positive change! Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Water Resources Engineer to join our Hydropower and Dams group. As the successful candidate, you will: Manage projects concentrated in the water resources, flood control and hydropower sectors with opportunities to participate in the infrastructure and mining/industrial sectors. Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, specifications, and correspondence. Develop business, writing proposals, and presenting to clients. Undertake technical reviews of documents and technical drawings prepared by the team Complete Hydraulic and hydrologic modelling and analysis (using HEC and MIKE tools) as well as using GIS tools for analysis and presentation of concepts You bring to the role: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with 5+ years of relevant professional experience; or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with 3+ years of relevant professional experience; or PhD in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. Registered, or eligible to be registered, and licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer Demonstrated expertise in the Water Resources, Flood Control, Flood Protection and/or Hydropower sectors Team focused with excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of multidisciplinary projects. Effective time management skills. Outstanding verbal and written communications skills. Valid driver's license Ability to travel within USA and Internationally on short term assignments as required.
