About this role
Responsibilities:
• Assist staff dietitians with tasks related to client care, including preparing food/meals/snacks and putting away grocery deliveries
• Doing dishes, preparing food, cooking food, and simple grocery shopping trips
• Cleaning/tidying kitchen after meals and snacks
• Kitchen chores and Milieu Chores daily (ie, deep cleaning, restocking items, etc.)
• Collaborate with other members of a dynamic, multidisciplinary treatment team
• May include some light lifting
• Other tasks as assigned by manager
Requirements:
• Live, behave and talk in a way that reflects a non-diet, non-weight biased relationship with food and body.
• Exhibit a high degree of confidentiality and personal boundary setting
• Openness to learn new skills and take risks
• Comfortable with basics of nutrition, ie basic cooking skills, grocery shopping, dishwashing, etc.
Hours:
8-24 hours weekly; summer hours
Compensation: unpaid
