Do you enjoy supporting early childhood educators and helping them feel confident in their work with young children? The Center for Inclusive Child Care is growing our team and is hiring part-time staff in Duluth, Rochester and Twin Cities Metro areas!

Candidates we are seeking:

• 5 years of experience providing direct service in early childhood education.

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or related field.

• Must possess and maintain a valid MN state driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment screening.

• 3 years of experience providing mentoring, coaching, consultation, or technical assistance.

• Knowledge of Minnesota child care licensing and programmatic requirements in the early care and education system in Minnesota.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide culturally sensitive relationship-based professional development (RBPD) and coaching to early care and education settings, including child care centers and family child care providers throughout Minnesota.

• Encourage and support collaboration between families, providers, community programs and organizations.

• Provide coaching to assist early childhood professionals through modeling, goal setting, reflection and resource sharing with a focus on inclusion, health and safety and infant and toddler best practices.

• Work collaboratively with early childhood educators to jointly develop and implement action plans to meet ongoing goals.

• Assist those being coached to structure environments, routines and interactions that contribute to positive social-emotional outcomes for the children and families in a program.

• Connect programs, families, and individuals to CICC resources and/or to community partners to access external support.

Travel:

• This position requires up to 50% travel, typically within one or two hours from your home location.

• Must be physically able to independently operate your own vehicle and travel throughout the region, and statewide as needed, which may occasionally require an overnight stay.
