This role will primarily focus on Asian countries but is not limited to Asia. You will play a key role in supporting customers (manufacturers) as they navigate complex regulatory landscapes by providing accurate regulatory information and implementing solutions that enable access to global markets. The primary focus areas include Wireless, Cybersecurity, Data Governance and Artificial Intelligence regulations. This role serves as a subject matter expert responsible for researching, interpreting, maintaining, and delivering regulatory knowledge to support global market access, compliance, certification, and advisory services. This role independently develops comprehensive research reports, monitors regulatory developments, manages knowledge assets, and provides expert guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

You will be based in our China office while working closely with a global team across multiple locations. You also need to collaborate with regulatory authorities, industry partners, customers, sales teams, and operational teams to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable regulatory intelligence that enables customers to access global markets efficiently and compliantly.

As a ULS Knowledge Specialist for Wireless, Cybersecurity, Data Governance and Artificial Intelligence regulations, you will need

• Demonstrate the ability to complete core daily tasks cross multiple products, regulations, countries, such as: • publishing high-quality news and delivering accurate and valuable research report with a high level of quality and within required timelines • maintaining data • updating relevant internal files trackers and related resources.

• Act as the key expert contact window for compliance requirements required to access specific countries or schemes • Provide point-of-access support to address any local acceptance issues under supervision and guidance • Track regulatory trends and communicate upcoming regulatory changes for your assigned countries and regulations. • Support COUs and stakeholders in GMA and GCM business development and promotion activities, including on-site seminars, GCM demonstrations, and advisory consultations for key customers. • Leads actions related to GMA business expansion scope, track opportunity and business results from COUs • Support the CO team in identifying and investigating business opportunities related to emerging cybersecurity, data governance, and AI regulations • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices. • Perform other duties as directed.

• Bachelor's Degree required. • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. • Deep knowledge of the TIC business and the industries in which the business functions. Able to connect the regulation rules with customer needs and business opportunities. • Natural influencing skills, confident and able to deliver the message. • Ability to network and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and lead/facilitate collaboration toward a common goal. • Able to deal in the ambiguity and take decisions, support customers in understanding their problem and provide valid solutions based on their knowledge schemes and past experiences. • Experienced and knowledgeable for Asian countries of regulations for wireless. • Experience with some extra knowledge of AI and cyber would be preferred. • Excellent in communication, able to summarize requirements and articulate effectively. • Fluent in English, with strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills for daily work. • Bachelor’s Degree Engineering, International Relations, or other specialization based on the specific coverage, Preferred.
