Position Summary The Store Director is responsible for leading all aspects of store operations to achieve sales, profitability, customer service, and operational goals. This role drives overall store performance by managing the store's P&L, developing high-performing teams, ensuring execution excellence, and creating an environment focused on the customer and associate experience. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership • Own and manage store P&L performance. • Drive sales growth, gross margin improvement, and expense control. • Monitor labor costs, shrink, inventory levels, and operational expenses. • Analyze business trends and implement action plans to improve results. Store Operations • Direct all daily store operations and ensure compliance with company standards. • Execute merchandising, promotional, and operational initiatives. • Maintain high standards for product quality, in-stock conditions, cleanliness, and presentation. • Ensure accurate inventory management and asset protection practices. Customer Experience • Champion customer service programs and create a customer-first culture. • Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly. • Drive customer loyalty by ensuring exceptional service throughout the store. Leadership & Talent Development • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop store leadership and associates. • Build succession plans and maintain a strong leadership pipeline. • Foster a positive, inclusive, and performance-oriented culture. • Conduct performance discussions and ensure accountability across departments. Safety & Compliance • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, food safety standards, and operational procedures. • Lead store safety initiatives and maintain a safe environment for associates and customers. • Oversee regulatory compliance and risk management activities. Community & Stakeholder Relations • Build positive relationships with customers, community organizations, vendors, and company leadership. • Represent the store within the local community and support community engagement efforts.
