About this role
• Lead EMS and SCADA system design for utility-scale BESS projects. • Develop system architecture, control philosophies, and operational strategies. • Design and configure SCADA applications, HMI screens, alarms, and reporting dashboards. • Integrate EMS with BMS, PCS, SCADA, PPC, weather stations, meters, and utility systems. • Define communication architecture using industry-standard protocols. • Develop energy optimization, peak shaving, load shifting, and frequency regulation strategies. • Coordinate with Electrical, PCS, Controls, Cybersecurity, and Commissioning teams. • Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and site performance validation activities. • Ensure grid code compliance and utility communication requirements. • Analyze operational data and recommend system performance improvements. • Manage EMS/SCADA vendors and review technical deliverables. • Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical support during project execution.
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Computer Science, or related discipline. • M.Tech in Power Systems, Control Systems, Energy Systems, or Automation preferred.
