Requirements: Experience in identity and access management, including governance, lifecycle management, authentication, access control and provisioningExperience reviewing current-state IAM capabilities, systems, processes and governance arrangementsExperience developing IAM strategies, target operating models and phased roadmapsExperience with Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes and identity data flowsExperience with role-based access models, privileged access management, federated identity and modern authentication technologiesExperience analysing integrations across directory services, Microsoft 365, learning platforms and business systemsExperience facilitating workshops with technical teams, business stakeholders and service ownersExperience producing executive-level briefing papers, business cases and option appraisalsAbility to provide expert advice and knowledge transfer to internal teamsUnderstanding of large-scale identity lifecycle requirements in a Higher Education environment Responsibilities: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current IAM landscape, including technology platforms, governance arrangements, operational processes and organisational responsibilitiesReview and document existing Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes across staff, students, contractors, alumni and affiliate populationsAnalyse how identity data is created, maintained and consumed across HR, Student Records, Registry, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, learning platforms and business systemsReview and map identity data flows, integrations and provisioning mechanisms between authoritative source systems and consuming applicationsAssess current authentication, authorisation, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication capabilitiesReview the effectiveness of role management, entitlement assignment and access governance processesEvaluate the institutions capability to support large-scale annual student enrolment, account creation, provisioning and access configuration requirementsIdentify control weaknesses, security risks, process inefficiencies and opportunities for automationFacilitate workshops with technical teams, business stakeholders and service owners to understand current and future requirementsDevelop an IAM strategy aligned to organisational objectives, cyber security requirements, digital transformation ambitions and sector best practiceDefine a target operating model for identity and access management, including governance, ownership, processes, policies, data management and service responsibilitiesDevelop a phased roadmap for improvement, including quick wins, medium-term enhancements and long-term transformation activitiesProvide recommendations regarding identity governance, lifecycle management, directory services, privileged access management, federated identity, role-based access control and modern authentication technologiesDevelop requirements and recommendations for identity-related integrations, automation and orchestration capabilitiesProduce executive-level briefing papers, business cases and option appraisals to support decision makingSupport the prioritisation and planning of future IAM improvement projectsProvide knowledge transfer and expert guidance to internal teams Technologies: Active DirectoryIAMSupportMicrosoft 365SecurityOffice 365 More:
