Salary: £41,500 - 71,000 per year
Requirements: Expert in the principles and approaches underpinning design and development activities, with expert understanding, knowledge, and experience of Systems EngineeringStrong systems thinking and the application of holistic approaches to complex problemsWell versed in Systems Engineering standards such as ISO 15288 and ISO 24641Experience of requirements management and configuration management, including tools such as IBM DOORS NextExperience of working with and leading large-scale complex system designsExperience of all aspects of an engineering lifecycle, with expert knowledge of lifecycle models such as Waterfall and Agile, and associated tools such as JIRAExperience presenting both technical and non-technical information in a formal settingGood level of IT literacyAchieved Chartered Engineer status, or in the final stages of achieving it, or equivalent capabilityWorking towards relevant professional accreditation such as INCOSE UK CSEP certification Responsibilities: Analyse performance data collected from both modelled and real-world systemsDevelop system or sub-system designs to meet functional and performance goalsProvide lead technical support for the evolution of existing products to extend functionality and meet new and evolving requirementsSupport the development of entirely new Radar productsDevelop novel solutions to evolving technical challenges and emerging issues for complex phased array Radar SystemsConduct system design analysis to manage trade-offs of principal system parameters and characterise and specify robust product designsDemonstrate detailed and comprehensive understanding of Systems Engineering concepts, principles, and supporting governanceApply Systems Engineering knowledge across a wide range of engineering issues within our discipline and other engineering disciplines Technologies: IBMSupportJIRASecurity More:
