Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year
Requirements: We require education to A-Level standard or equivalent.We require experience in a data analytics, systems analyst or similar role.We require experience designing, building and testing Power BI dashboards and reports.We require a strong understanding of data structures and data relationships.We require experience gathering and interpreting business requirements.We require understanding of data warehouse principles and design.We require strong analytical and problem-solving skills.We require excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.We require the ability to deliver user training and support.We require proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Knowledge of SQL Server is desirable.Experience working with field job management systems is desirable.Understanding of mobile data solutions is desirable.Experience with statistical forecasting techniques is desirable.Knowledge of the water or utilities sector is desirable. Responsibilities: We design, develop and deliver reporting solutions and dashboards using Power BI.We produce meaningful management information and analysis for stakeholders up to Director level.We build and maintain datasets to support operational and strategic business decisions.We develop and maintain directorate dashboards and reporting plans.We provide detailed data analysis to support business requirements and investigations.We gather, interpret and document user reporting requirements.We ensure reports and dashboards are thoroughly tested and validated.We support the ongoing development and optimisation of our data warehouse.We provide first-line support for designated business systems.We manage user access, permissions and system administration activities.We deliver training and guidance to system and report users.We act as a key point of contact for third-party software suppliers and support providers.We assist with system upgrades, enhancements, testing and implementation activities.We support the maintenance of system documentation and user guides.
