We are seeking experienced Senior Java Developers to join the COTAX Futures Team within Tax Administration, supporting a major programme focused on the modernisation of HMRC legacy services. You will work within agile Scrum teams alongside Java Engineers, Front End Developers and Quality Engineers to deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions and modern microservices architecture. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a large-scale digital transformation programme operating within a complex, enterprise-level environment. The role is based in Telford with onsite working requirements depending on project needs, offered on a 12-month contract at a rate of £550 per day, and requires BPSS clearance. Previous public sector experience is desirable but not essential, and candidates from public sector, banking, financial services, insurance, utilities, telecommunications and other highly regulated industries are particularly welcome.
