Requirements: Previous experience within a 1st / 2nd Line, Service Desk or Desktop Support environment.Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows desktop and common business applications.Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and user account administration.Good understanding of Active Directory / identity and access management.Experience supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripheral hardware.Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and connectivity troubleshooting.Strong communication skills and confidence supporting users at all levels.Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple incidents. Responsibilities: Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support across desktop, laptop, software and user-access issues.Troubleshoot incidents across hardware, operating systems, applications and connectivity.Manage user onboarding, offboarding, account access and permissions.Own incidents and service requests through to resolution, escalating where necessary.Support users remotely and face-to-face across our London office.Maintain accurate ticketing, technical documentation and knowledge-base information.Work closely with wider IT teams to resolve recurring issues and improve the overall user experience. We are currently searching for an experienced 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our London-based organisation on an initial 6-month contract. This is a hands-on technical support role across a busy user environment, with hybrid working in London. The contract rate is £200 - £250 per day.
