Requirements: A good background in Network Security within a large-scale, complex organisationExperience setting up, maintaining, and upgrading firewallsIn-depth experience with any of the following: Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Checkpoint, or Palo AltoExperience within a large-scale, complex organisation; managed service, consultancy, or B2B experience is highly beneficialRecent experience dealing with major incidents involving networks and firewallsSome industry certifications may be required for top-end salaries, such as Fortinet NSE 4/5/6/7, Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, or Cisco CCNA/CCNPEligibility to get SC clearance Responsibilities: Join our existing Network Security team alongside the SOCWork with vulnerabilities and remediation stepsSet up, maintain, patch, and upgrade customer firewalls, including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point environmentsWork actively on client firewallsComplete firewall upgradesRun IPS and IDSPerform log reviewsCarry out general BAU tasks, such as VPN creationSupport a variety of clients by helping set up, maintain, monitor, and secure their networksDeal appropriately with major incidentsMake sure appropriate steps are in place and followed for vulnerability remediationPerform safe upgrades and patches where requiredProvide accurate and informed security insights internally and to our customersEnsure incident response levels are appropriate Technologies: CiscoFirewallSupportNetworkSecurityVPN More:
