Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements: We require 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.We require proven experience developing and launching applications for both iOS and Android.We require strong hands-on experience with a cross-platform framework such as Flutter or React Native.We require hands-on experience with payment gateway integration, including one-time payments, recurring payments, subscription payments, payment verification, transaction handling, failures, retries, refunds, cancellations, webhooks, and secure payment processing.We strongly prefer experience with payment providers such as Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Adyen, Braintree, or similar.We require experience building subscription-based applications, including free and paid memberships, monthly and annual plans, free trials, upgrades, downgrades, renewals, cancellations, expiration, payment failure handling, user entitlements, and feature restrictions.We strongly prefer experience with RevenueCat, Apple StoreKit, and Google Play Billing.We strongly prefer experience integrating AI/LLM APIs and building AI chatbot or ChatGPT-like applications.We require strong hands-on experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, JSON, API authentication, third-party API/SDK integration, secure API communication, and asynchronous data handling.We require experience implementing user sign-up, login, email verification, OTP authentication, social login, password reset, profile management, session management, account deletion, and secure authentication practices.We require experience independently managing app deployment to Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including App Store Connect, Google Play Console, TestFlight, certificates, provisioning profiles, signing, release builds, app review, submission, production releases, and version management.We require strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.We require experience with Git/version control.We prefer experience working in a startup or fast-paced product environment.We prefer CI/CD experience. Responsibilities: We develop, maintain, and optimize a high-quality mobile application for both iOS and Android.We build an intuitive and responsive AI chatbot experience.We integrate AI/LLM APIs and implement conversational AI functionality.We integrate REST APIs and GraphQL APIs and work closely with backend developers.We design and implement secure user authentication and account management.We implement payment gateways and payment processing systems.We build and manage subscription and membership functionality.We implement free, premium, monthly, annual, and trial-based membership plans.We handle subscription upgrades, downgrades, renewals, cancellations, failed payments, refunds, and user entitlements.We implement in-app purchases and recurring subscriptions for iOS and Android where required.We manage chat history, user profiles, preferences, account settings, and other user-related functionality.We implement push notifications and other mobile features.We optimize application performance, stability, security, and scalability.We conduct testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.We manage complete app deployment and release processes for both Apple App Store and Google Play Store.We manage production releases, versioning, certificates, provisioning, signing, and store submissions.We monitor production applications and resolve technical issues.We work with analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools.We collaborate with backend developers to define API requirements and troubleshoot integration issues.We take ownership of features from concept through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.We work independently in a fast-paced startup environment and proactively identify technical challenges and recommend solutions. We are building a next-generation AI-powered chatbot application for both iOS and Android, similar in concept to ChatGPT. This is a fast-paced startup environment where you will work closely with our founders, product, design, and backend teams.
