Salary: £32,000 - 38,000 per year
Requirements: We require a commercial printing industry and/or related software background; this is not a pure IT role.We are looking for experience using or setting up pre-press, workflow, web-to-print, and/or MIS software.We require software/IT aptitude and enthusiasm.We require an understanding of database structures, including tables, fields, and relationships.We require good general IT knowledge, including configuring and problem solving Windows, server operating systems, networking, email, and MS365 Suite products.We need a fast and keen learner.We need a team player.SQL experience is a bonus.You must be within commuting distance of Chandlers Ford, SO53 5SS, using your own transport. Responsibilities: We deal with client issues and queries on a day-to-day basis via email, telephone, web, live chat, and remote access.We work with the development team to assist in testing, documentation, and bug diagnosis.We support in-house IT systems, including vTiger CRM, MS365 accounts/Exchange, Active Directory, Synology NAS drive and C2 Backup, and AWS web hosting servers.We provide training and technical support to our internal sales team.We perform client upgrades.We install and migrate Ruby on Rails web applications on hosted platforms.We carry out software testing and produce release documentation and/or help videos.We may complete client-specific projects such as writing ODBC/SQL queries, report writing, and XML data transformations.We may also take on other diverse ad-hoc projects as needed. We are one of the UKs leading independent Print MIS suppliers, providing our Accura360 software solution to SME printers in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and elsewhere. Our Accura360 platform supports commercial printing companies with modules for estimating, production, scheduling, purchasing, stock control, CRM, and an online web portal for e-commerce/web-to-print. We provide clients with software, training, support, and upgrades. This is a full-time in-house Monday to Friday role, 9:00am to 5:30pm, with the possibility of flexi-time or later hours to cover overseas customers. Home-hybrid working may be considered. The salary package depends on relevant IT experience and Print MIS background.
