We are looking for a senior leader for the key role as Logistics DK Market Head. Your primary focus will be to ensure cost-competitiveness through optimizing footprint, routes and equipment utilization and a strong safety culture. Additionally, you will spearhead sustainability and digitalisation initiatives within the market. Setting direction and securing service delivery performance In your role you will report to SVP Logistics as part of the Global Logistics Team in Arla Supply Chain and will also have reference to the Commercial Head in DK as part of the Commercial Leadership Team. Together with your team in Logistics DK, you will be responsible for Building the logistics organisation that drives safety, service, quality and cost end-to-end in the Arla value chain from farm to customer. Secure cost-competitiveness and build your organisation to deliver excellent quality and service levels towards both internal and external customers. You will drive shared KPIs and ensure good communication with the commercial organisation in the DK and global SC organization. Setting direction, implementing and anchoring on new solutions across Logistics DK to enable delivery on sustainability, digital and efficiency agendas. Have a strong focus on strengthening both leadership and logistics capabilities in your team as well as a focus on driving best practices and continuous improvements in customer service, demand planning, warehousing and transport. Taking shared responsibility for the development of the DK business as a member of DK Management team. Passionate business leader You have a strong expertise and track record as a senior leader in logistics or broader Supply Chain, who can drive a step change in performance across a complex supply chain. You will do this by building on your deep functional expertise in modern logistics, including knowledge and experience developing transportation and warehousing functions for an international organisation. You are a powerful decision maker who manages to combine an analytical approach and a strategic perspective with decisive actions and you do not hold yourself back when it comes to realising our financial goals. Furthermore, you possess a strong ability to lead from the front while being a team player with real operational credibility willing to roll up your sleeves. You have a clear history of establishing credibility across the organisation through engagement to ensure the most effective logistics solutions, and their alignment with overall business strategies. In this role you will be dealing with a number of stakeholders and it is essential that you have an ability to unite and inspire your organisation around a shared agenda through influencing and strong communication skills and you will use your excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to interact with other departments, employees, and outside vendors and carriers.
