About this role

Here is what your role entails As a Software Intern, you will be involved in the full development lifecycle—from analysis and design to implementation, testing, and release, while working closely with experienced colleagues through sparring, Agile ceremonies, and code reviews. Throughout the internship, you will gain broad insight into our software development process and contribute to development, optimization, and hands‑on engineering tasks, including breaking down work items, detailed design, development, and testing. Based on the MS .NET platform, you will work with a wide range of technologies and tools, including: C# (.net 4.7.2/core/10) Github Copilot WPF, WCF DBs (SQL, Mongo) Service Fabric Gitlab Powershell As part of our commitment to modern software engineering, we also use AI-powered tools to support analysis, development, testing, documentation, and code quality. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies while actively contributing to real-world applications used across Kamstrup’s solutions, sharpening both your technical skills and understanding of secure, scalable software development. Meet your future team You will become part of Software & Analytics, Electricity department, consisting of experienced software developers and testers. In our teams we develop automated metering solutions, and we are very passionate about software design and programming. We work in agile teams, and you will be an integrated part of the developer team from day one. Collaboration is an essential part of our processes, and you can expect professional sparring, support, and knowledge sharing throughout your internship. In order to succeed, we imagine that you: Are studying within Information and Communication Technology, Software Development, or another related field Have a great interest in high level software and bring up-to-date knowledge to the role Are quality-oriented, thorough with your tasks and your structural approach makes you good at maintaining a clear overview See teamwork and professional sparring as essential parts of your workday It is a requirement that you are fluent in English both written and spoken.
