Østens Bazar is looking for a reliable and motivated Sales Assistant to join our team at our store in Copenhagen. Location: Frederikssundsvej 11, 2400 Copenhagen NV Working hours: 40 hours per week Position: Full-time Sales Assistant About the Role As a Sales Assistant at Østens Bazar, you will be involved in the daily operation of the store and help ensure that our customers receive good service and that the store is well organised. Your daily responsibilities will include typical retail tasks such as: Providing friendly and professional customer service Operating the cash register Restocking shelves and keeping the store organised Receiving and handling deliveries Ordering products and monitoring stock levels Checking that products are correctly labelled and priced Assisting with other day-to-day tasks in the store In addition to the usual responsibilities of a Sales Assistant, experience with Microsoft Excel is important for this position. You will use Excel to help check and compare purchase prices and sales prices and ensure that the information registered in our systems is correct. You will be responsible for identifying any errors or discrepancies and reporting them to the Store Manager. You will not be responsible for deciding or setting sales prices. Sales prices are determined by the Store Manager. Your responsibility will be to check that the prices and information have been entered correctly. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has previous experience working in retail or a similar customer-facing position Has experience using Microsoft Excel and is comfortable working with spreadsheets Is organised, responsible and detail-oriented Is comfortable working with numbers and checking prices Can work independently as well as part of a team Provides good customer service and communicates well with customers and colleagues Is flexible and able to work in a busy retail environment Takes responsibility for their tasks and pays attention to accuracy About Østens Bazar Østens Bazar is a supermarket located at Frederikssundsvej 11 in Copenhagen NV.
