About this role

AFTERMARKET MANAGER TriVision is on a growth journey, and we are in the process of expanding our position in the market. For that, we are looking for a new Aftermarket Manager with responsibility for our Service department, our aftermarket business and customer support that keeps our vision systems running at full performance in the field. If you thrive with great responsibility for service operations, customer relationships and continuous improvement of our aftermarket offering – and you're not afraid to open a terminal and write a bit of code yourself – we have the role for you right here. You will work with the organization to build a strong, proactive service setup, develop our aftermarket revenue (spare parts, service agreements and upgrades) and ensure our customers get fast, competent support. You will be a key point of contact for our customers, handling incoming calls and e-mails and making sure their issues are solved quickly and professionally. Because our vision systems combine hardware with advanced software, you will also get close to the technical core of our solutions – diagnosing issues, building small tools and scripts, and working with our developers to solve problems at the source. Your areas of responsibility You will lead and develop the Service department and be the driving force behind our aftermarket strategy. Specifically, you will: - Manage and priorities the daily service tasks and the service technicians handling installation support, troubleshooting and maintenance at customer sites. - Have personnel management responsibility for the Service department – including staffing, development, one-on-ones and the day-to-day motivation and wellbeing of your team. - Be a direct point of contact for customers by phone and e-mail, handling enquiries and support cases and solving their problems quickly and professionally. - Own the aftermarket business – service agreements, spare parts sales and upgrade opportunities – and identify ways to grow this area. - Act as an escalation point for complex technical and software-related support cases, including remote diagnostics on our vision systems. - Write and maintain scripts and small tools (e.g. in Python or similar languages) that support diagnostics, service reporting and internal workflows. - Explore and apply AI tools to make service and support more efficient, e.g. for faster troubleshooting, case handling and internal knowledge sharing. - Collaborate closely with the software and hardware development teams to feed field experience back into product improvements. - Implement and continuously optimize processes to secure documentation, approvals and full delivery of service commitments. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and sub-suppliers involved in service and support. Professional competencies required You hold a relevant technical education – for example within electronics, mechanical, production or software engineering – or you have equivalent experience from a similar role in the automation, machine vision or industrial technology industry. You are comfortable with coding and can read, write and debug scripts (Python or similar) to solve practical problems – you don't need to be a professional software developer, but you're not intimidated by code and enjoy using it as a tool. You also have a genuine interest in AI and how it can be used practically to streamline service, support and diagnostics. You have experience with technical service, support or maintenance, ideally including personnel management responsibility for a team or a service function. You are used to handling direct customer contact by phone and e-mail and enjoy solving customers' problems. Experience with spare parts sales, service agreements or other aftermarket business is an advantage, as is knowledge of the food and packaging industry. Personal profile You are service-minded and thrive when you can make customers succeed with our technology. You take ownership naturally and genuinely enjoy people management – motivating, developing and creating a good everyday life for your team – whether you already have managerial experience or have the clear potential and drive to take on the responsibility. You are structured and good at prioritizing in a busy day with many parallel cases, and you keep a cool head when issues get technical or time critical. You communicate clearly and diplomatically with both customers and colleagues – on the phone, by e-mail and in person – and you're just as comfortable in a technical discussion with a developer as in a friendly, problem-solving conversation with a customer. Practical information and application The position is reporting to the Operations Director of TriVision A/S. You will be based in Odense, and we expect you to start in the new position as soon as possible. For further questions regarding the role, you are welcome to contact Operations Director Torben Poulsen at 2779 5898. We look forward to hearing from you.
