Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist responsible for drawing blood specimens by venipuncture according to the study schedules. The role involves recording and maintaining records of blood draws and other biological specimen collections, assisting with proper labeling and preparation of blood collection tubes, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for scheduled activities.Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to draw blood specimens as per study schedules. • Record and maintain detailed records of blood draws and specimen collections per SOPs. • Assist with labeling and preparation of blood collection tubes. • Ensure all blood collection tubes, equipment, and supplies are ready before blood draw times. • Prepare the unit for scheduled activities and clear equipment and supplies afterward. • Take and record accurate vital signs, and report any abnormalities. • Report any adverse events or non-compliance of study participants to the Study Nurse Coordinator. • Follow proper phlebotomy and laboratory procedures compliant with OSHA regulations and Good Clinical Practices. • Read and understand all study protocols and schedules. Essential Skills

• Experience in phlebotomy and clinical research. • Knowledge of lab specimen processing. • Familiarity with clinical trials. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. • Technical school phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification is a must. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. • Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in phlebotomy in a fast-paced environment. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
